Quiet Nights

We have No Club, No Bar and No evening entertainment. Sun Haven Valley is a peaceful and relaxing holiday park with a 10.30pm Silence Policy to ensure our customers have a quiet night and relaxing stay. Of course, we cannot stop babies crying or people snoring but we do our best to restrict inconsiderate or intentional noise at night, during the day we have similar rules; music, radios etc. must not be played at volumes that "can be heard off the pitch". As part of our 'silence at 10.30pm' policy, we insist that everyone under the age of 18 must return to their accommodation by 9.45pm - it is the responsibilty of parents and guardians to ensure their safe return.

The rules should not be dismissed as every year we have to 'ask' a few to leave earlier than intended because they insist on disturbing others.

You do not have to be tee-total but our rules ask that you are quiet after 10.30pm. If you fancy a drink or a bite to eat, there is a Retorrick Mill and Scott & Babs 1/4 mile from the back gate or you have the 2 local pubs in opposite directions, just a 15 minute walk from one another, .

Digital Detox

Our fantastic views and serene atmosphere have one draw back, the lack of or severly diminished telephone and internet signal, this can also impinge upon your ability to achieve a TV signal in your touring caravan or motorhome.

Whist we have fibre optic WiFi available to guests at a small charge, we cannot guarantee any coverage or service anywhere on site - or its compatability with any device. The lack of signal can be a good thing if you want to escape from your job, but if WiFi or mobile signal is important to you, that several local establishments such as The Falcon Inn and the Merrymoor Inn offer complimentary WiFi. Mobile signal can be obtained by walking or driving out of the Valley, however there is a public phone box at the top of the site if needed.
